Suraj Patel is the VP of Ventures and Corporate Development at MongoDB, where he spearheads the company’s venture investing, M&A, and startup go-to-market strategies. With a decade of venture experience, Suraj’s team backs founders, acquires category creators, and helps startups scale with MongoDB and Voyage AI. His investments include companies like Fireworks, Temporal, and HumanSignal, among others. Prior to MongoDB, Suraj was a founding member of Bow Capital and served as a Sales Engineering leader at Looker (during its high-growth period). He also held various positions at TIBCO and Wells Fargo. Suraj holds a BA in Economics from UC Berkeley.
