Peter Deng is a General Partner at Felicis. He invests in companies that help fulfill the full potential and promise of AI for consumers and businesses. His background is building products and was most recently a VP at OpenAI where he led the team working on ChaptGPT. He was also Chief Product Officer at Airtable and he worked at Meta for a decade, working on core Facebook products, founding the Messenger team, building and leading the Instagram product team, and more. He graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor’s in Symbolic Systems and also got his master’s with a focus on human-computer interaction.
