Mark Pollack

Dr. Mark Pollack is the founder and co-lead of the Spring AI Java Open Source project, bringing AI capabilities to the Spring ecosystem. He has been a key contributor to the Spring framework since 2003, when he contributed JMS functionality. Throughout his career with Spring, Mark has founded and led several influential projects including Spring Cloud Data Flow, Spring XD, Spring Data, Spring Shell, Spring AMQP, and Spring.NET. Prior to his work with Spring, Mark was involved in offline computing in high-energy nuclear physics at Brookhaven National Laboratory and served as a technical lead in the financial services industry, focusing on front-office trading systems.
