Topping 500K Users, InVision Prototyping Platform Integrates With Sketch

InVision, the platform for building beautiful, interactive prototypes, has just announced integration with Sketch, a design application that is growing in traction as an alternative to Photoshop.

InVision has been around since 2011 trying to change the way that companies think about the prototyping process. Usually, to see a concept at a realistic level, designers and engineers had to work tirelessly to build out iteration after iteration to make sure that form met function. But with InVision, designers can bring their styles to life with interactive tools for animations, transitions, etc.

So it makes sense that InVision is growing so rapidly, passing the 500k user mark. In fact, the company tells me that it’s on pace to surpass 100k new business users each month.

InVision works on a freemium model, allowing anyone to start a project for free. Tools around sharing, prototyping, and collaboration cost money.

The company has raised four rounds, and now has a total of $35.2 million in funding, with investment predominantly coming from FirstMark Capital and Tiger Global.
