Some new phones from HTC are apparently on their way to Sprint, previously known as Diamond and Raphael. The Diamond will be called the HTC Touch Diamond and the Raphael will be called the HTC Touch Pro, according to MoDaCo. There will also be a device called the HTC Touch Dual Pro, previously codenamed the HTC Titanium.
The Touch Pro, shown above, will likely replace Sprint’s HTC Mogul and the Touch Diamond will replace Sprint’s Touch. The Touch Dual Pro is thought to replace the Touch Dual, which is basically a Touch with a slide-down numeric keypad.
The Touch Diamond and the Touch Pro contain some impressive specs along with a feature called eGPS, which is a very quick, very low-power, very accurate GPS technology. According to WMExperts,
“[I]t’s unclear if all of these specs will be in the CDMA versions, as features like FM radio can be disabled, etc. But here is what we know about the Touch Diamond & Raphael:

What is eGPS you ask? Talk about cutting edge, this stuff was just officially announced by the UK company CSR in February. Basically it’s like aGPS but better. Way better. (In fairness, Qualcomm has their gpsOneXTRA to compete)

There will apparently be GSM versions of these devices announced soon, maybe at an HTC event taking place in London next Wednesday. I’ll be there covering it, so we’ll get a lot of solid details at that time.
